On the other hand, Dongyang redwood furniture is facing the strong competition among regions, the limitation by the raw material supply, and the potential factors which restrict the whole long-term development of the industry.Therefore, this paper will put forward to the propositions in transformation and upgrading of Dongyang woodcarving redwood furniture industry, starting from the perspective of design innovation; The author gives some specific and feasible practical approaches and countermeasures in transformation and upgrading of Dongyang woodcarving redwood furniture industry, based on the analysis of basic concept effect of design innovation and relevant successful cases, on the basis of contribution of historical academic research studies.
