In everyday’s oral communication, asking and answering occupies a large proportion. Due to its rich forms of expression, and a variety of functional significance, researching from the aspects of questions and answers has been the focus of most researchers. Previous studies mostly focused on the question’s structures, forms and meanings, the studies of the response sentence for interrogative are rarely seen, even the studies which concerned such content are mostly concentrated in rhetorical questions. Discussions from the perspective of foreign language teaching is minimal. We can see that despite the rhetorical answers in our daily life, there are also many general interrogative sentence frequent response in the language, in terms of language using and studying, these questions above worth studying. In addition, we found that although the actual spoken lectures are teaching obvious answer interrogative sentences, but the number of students who can actually use them well is few. Therefore, we would like to study from the perspective of foreign language teaching research in general interrogative sentence answer.Our article is divided into seven parts, including the introduction part explaining the reason and significance of research, research status and development trends, research content and scope, corpus sources and research methods, etc; explained the interrogative sentence response concept, theoretical foundation and Features. We used the scripts of the hot TV series, classified the reality communication interrogative sentence answers and discussed its features; Secondly we studied the interrogative sentence responses in Oral Chinese Textbooks, also classified and discussed their functions; then we used questionnaires to investigate and analyze how the students use interrogative sentence answers; Finally, we offered suggestions on how to teach interrogative sentence answers in Chinese speaking course.We hope to use this research to deepen the study of interrogative sentence responses, improve students’ verbal communication ability, to contribute to the promotion of foreign language teaching career.
