This translation report choose the first half of the chapter19—Selling and distributing travel and tourism in the tourism textbook—The Business of Tourism as the translation material.This material includes the role of travel agents, selling and distributing the travel products and services, the travel operators in distribution chains. It uses lots of sentences of the attributive clause and the passive voice in this material. In this paper, the author summarizes translating methods about it. Besides, the author makes emphasize on concluding and analyzing some conversion strategies from static to dynamic in English-Chinese translation. It’s better for making the translated text more fluent. Finally, the author wishes that the paper could help in the translation of tourism management textbooks as a reference.
