A Brief Report On Translation Practice In English And Chinese Translation

At present, there is a rapid growth in the demand for academic papers and academic books all over the world. The translation of academic texts can enhance the learning of foreign advanced research results, and promote the development of academic exchanges. In this paper, the 4th part of a symposium on sociology-Cultural Evolution: Society, Technology, Language, and Religion was translated, and then a practice report based on the translation process was completed. The academic texts of this symposium has a strict logic, and many interrogative sentences are used in this paper. How to give full play to the function of the interrogative sentences during the translation processes? In the translation practice report, the translator explored the translation strategies and techniques of interrogative sentences, and the mistranslate in academic texts from many perspectives. Many thoughts and experiences were summed up in the report in order to enrich the translation and research of academic texts in sociology.
