A Study On The Relationship Between Psychological Control Source, Coping Style And Subjective Well - Being Of Tax System In Tax System

Subjective well-being is a hot topic of the research of positive psychology.With the accelerating social development, reform and further deepening and the social transformation, civil servants at all levels are facing more challenges and bearing more psychological pressure.In charge of the economic lifeline of the state, tax system civil servants’jobs are complicated, and full of responsibility, How about their happiness? What are the factors related to happiness? To solve these problems, this article chose 272 public functionaries in the tax system as the object,by means of Campbell happiness sensing volume index table, internal control, Powerful others and Chance Scale (IPC), Simplified Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) for empirical research to explore and analyze the relationship of locus of control, coping style and subjective well-being. Conclusion of the study are as follows:(1)The total Subjective well-being of tax system civil servants is at a high level, and is significantly higher than that of college students; the level of internal control of the locus of control is higher than that of powerful others and chance,they are more partial to internal control; the scale of positive coping style is higher than that of negative coping and they are more inclined to positive cope.(2)Tax system civil servants’differences of Subjective well-being is not significant in gender, age, length of service, education, marriage, income and rank,only the overall emotional index has significant differences in age, demographic variables had little influence on subjective well-being.(3)Tax system civil servant’differences in each dimension of locus of control and positive coping style are not significant in age, length of service, education, income, marriage and rank; The Powerful others dimension and positive coping style have significant differences in gender, negative coping has significant differences in age, gender is an important influential factor of the Powerful others and positive coping style, age is an important factor influencing the negative coping style.(4)The relations among psychological locus of control, coping style and Subjective well-being are very intimate, for example, there is a significant positive correlation between internal control and Subjective well-being,the same as positive coping style and Subjective well-being, but powerful others and chance are significantly negative correlated to Subjective well-being; internal control, powerful others and positive coping style can effectively predict the Subjective well-being, they can explain 10.6%,4.8% and 11.4% of the variation of SWB respectively.(5)The internal control of the locus of control is positively correlated to positive coping but not significantly correlated with negative coping; powerful others and chance are negatively related with positive coping, but significant positive correlated with negative coping style Positive coping plays to partial mediating effect in both processes of internal control and powerful others influencing the Subjective well-being.
