Communicative Approach(hereinafter referred to as CA), which is also called functional method, CA has comprehensive characters of second language teaching theory, and becomes the teaching method that adopt others’ different strengths, while absorbing some advantages of direct method and audiolingual method, in addition, adopting various disciplines’ classic conclusion. Its central principle is that: student priority, teacher assisted instruction. That communicative and living teaching procedure is advocated, have student foster consciousness that using language to deal with problems naturally while learning in those scenes.This paper analyzes the Chinese teaching, which is carried out in Thailand. Taking CA as point of penetration, and surveying currently status of classroom audiolingual teaching in Thailand as basis, this paper analyzes the influence of CA in teaching Chinese as a foreign language in Thailand and effective CA teaching method in aspects which is classroom teaching and cultivation of students’ Chinese ability, then puts forward the necessity of considering CA as teaching guide, and analyzes the practice value according to teaching effectiveness. The paper is divided into four chapters:First chapter mainly discusses the relationship between CA and teaching Chinese as a foreign language and the influence of CA in classes of teaching Chinese as a foreign language through studying on the origin, development and characteristics of CA.Second chapter is about the previous investigation for the experiment of CA class, and mainly consists of the current status of audiolingual teaching, the analysis of teaching objects status, and the analysis of the materials used in teaching.Third chapter mainly studies the application of CA in audiolingual class,. Finally, according to the feedback from the students’ study, the conclusion is reached that the audiolingual class practice under the influence of CA is effective.Fourth chapter, I put forward some thoughts about the relevant problems during the experiment, and put forward some teaching suggestions on the teaching of CA, which is based on the research of the previous chapters.
