Research On Community Citizens' Consciousness Education

In the Seventeenth Party Congress report raised, strengthen civic consciousness education,establish the idea of democracy and the rule,freedom and equality,fairness and Justice.It is a programmatic document to carry out Citizen Consciousness Education explicitly and also one of the topics of long-term needs research July,2010the Ministry of Education enacted "National long-term Education Reform and development plan outline (2010-2020)", stressed the strengthening of civic consciousness education,Requires cultivate the qualified citizens of socialist once again in it.Civic consciousness education is an area of civic education,with the establishment of the socialist core value system,the study of the necessity and urgency to civic consciousness education is also becoming increasingly apparent.Yet available research literature is few, research perspectives is narrow,This study is from the perspective of community to strengthen civic consciousness education study,community education as a form of organization of educational activities and education,plays an irreplaceable role and status in strengthening civic consciousness education.Research mentality in this study by a theoretical discussion-behavior (situation analysis)-proposed strategy,That is a model to ask questions, identify problems and then solve the problem.Therefore, this paper deeply analyzes the necessity and importance of research and collected available research material to authored literature review.Laid the history foundation for the study,Then the important concepts of community, community education,citizenship, civic education has been defined, and focuses on the meaning and constitutes a civic consciousness,make a detailed interpretation from its history of the development trajectory of domestic to the today’s understanding and components,This study suggests that elements of citizenship connotation is divided into seven main sectionsrsubject consciousness, awareness of rights and obligations, legal awareness, sense of equality, international awareness, civic awareness, and other basic elements,which is fully reflects the content of civic education community, as well as the theoretical basis of this study.In the current situation analysis section, divided into two main directions, one part is the behavior of community citizenship,another part is discussing the citizenship education.Prominent is the status of civic education deficiencies, they are misconceptions of values and status,missing and errors about content, narrow and poor channels.Finally, the study primarily through interviews with community colleges streets’full-time teachers Xuhui District,which is research methods,summed up mainly community strategies for effective civic education are:the creation of civic consciousness dominant curriculum and hidden curriculum to deepen our understanding of community citizenship education; to carry forward the fine traditional culture to reinforce the foundation of community citizenship education; to a carrier to form a community citizenship through community public affairs and related activities; to carry out a variety of community cultural activities to build community civic education platform; to make an inventory of, integration and optimization community resources to achieve approaches of community citizenship education. Strategy is the focus of this article is also the end result.This study aims to improve the quality of citizens,maintain social stability, and promote the building of communities’ democracy and rule of law, provide recommendations for building a learning community and achieving a harmonious social and human resource power.
