Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Cultivating Women Cadres In The Chinese Communist Party

Female cadre is an important part of the Chinese Communist Party cadre, and also abeautiful landscape of the country’s political circle. The cultivation and selection of femalecadres, is the measurement of a country’s civilization and progress, and the inevitablerequirement of the Chinese Communist Party in its close contact with the masses as well asdeveloping socialist democratic politics. It is the important content of building a high-qualitycadre contingent.Under the guidance of the Marxist Women theory, in this paper, the author uses statisticalanalysis method, expounds the reasons for Chinese Communist Party’s attention to thecultivation and selection of female cadres, summarizes the achievements of Communist Party ofChina in cultivating and selecting female cadres, analyzes the existing problems, and explorestrategies to solve problems from multiple dimensions.Chinese Communist Party attaches great importance to the cultivation and selection offemale cadres. Currently, the legal policy system of cultivating and selecting female cadres inChina becoming increasingly perfect, political and economic environment and background hasbeen formed in protecting women’s participation in politics, female cadres continue to grow, thenumber and proportion of female cadres is growing, and their overall quality is increasing day byday. However, we must clearly realize that compared to a larger groups of male leadership,female cadres are still at a disadvantage in politics. From the internal point of view, the overallquality of female cadres is low, and their awareness to participate in governmental and politicalaffairs is not strong.From the external point of view, the system of cultivating and selecting female cadres is notperfect: there are a small number of female cadres on basic level, and their reserve is notsufficient; relatively there are a smaller number of them, accounting for a small proportion;female cadres are in uneven distribution which makes an irrational structure. In addition, thetraditional gender bias imprison the growth of female cadres, role conflict from family and careeraggravated their burden in politics, gender discrimination in workplaces hinders the selection andpromotion of female cadres, and social environment of cultivating female cadres needs to beoptimized urgently. From the perspective of international environment, in recent years, thesituation of women in politics in China is in an embarrassing retrograde situation, cultivating andselecting female cadres work still has a long way to go.Under new circumstances, the Chinese Communist Party should base on Marxist Womentheory, take the party and state leaders’ Women theory and ideas as practice basis, firstenergetically advocate the education of women cadres’ self-reliance, and continuously improve their overall quality and the braveness to meet the challenges and competition. Second, we mustcontinue to improve supporting system of the cultivation and selection of female cadres,strengthening efforts to cultivate female cadres, and ensure adequate back-up reserve; establishthe proportion of women cadres in politics and improve selection and appointment system; strictlaw enforcement and supervision to effective implement the cultivation and selection of femalecadres. Third, we must strengthen the propaganda and organize leadership to accelerate thedevelopment of productivity, optimizing the cultivation and selection of female cadres’ growthenvironment.
