Research On Anti - Terrorism Security Cooperation Between China And Central Asia Under The Framework Of SCO

There was a huge change in the world after the end of the cold world and in the complex international environment, countries intent to occupy a favorable position for multilateral situation. And the security situation in China and Central Asia is the current hot issues; the Central Asia is located in the join points and the integration of strategic of Eurasia which is the important geopolitical hub in the international strategic pattern. For a long time, due to the unstable factors of Central Asia, Shanghai Cooperation Organization has become China’s important anti-terrorism security cooperation platform with Central Asia for maintaining regional security and stability. Shanghai Cooperation Organization has been committed to maintaining regional security and has obtained certain achievement in anti-terrorism cooperation. Shanghai Cooperation Organization established the “shanghai spirit” which dissolves the terrorism in a peaceful way and reflects the concept of sustainable security cooperation in the beginning of establishment. Therefore researching the formation mechanism and development of counter-terrorism security cooperation as well as problems in the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization is a practical value for enriching the new security concept and summarize and look forward to the future development prospect. At the same time, it has important strategic significance for the healthy development of Shanghai Cooperation Organization to stabilize China’s surrounding areas and defend the national security.I mainly conducted a comprehensive investigation and analysis on the current situation, influence factors and solutions of counter-terrorism security cooperation between China and Central Asia by literature analysis, historical analysis and induction analysis in this paper. It has strong practical significance. This paper is divided into introduction, body and conclusion. The body is the first chapter to the fourth chapter. The introduction part includes the purpose and meaning of this paper, research status at home and abroad and the research methods and innovation points of this article. The first chapter mainly introduces the theoretical foundation for the “new security concept”, including the overview of the new security concept, the “Shanghai spirit” and the combination of regional cooperation against terrorism. The “new security concept” referred to in this article is the “China new security concept”. The second chapter and the third chapter is the core which introduce the present situation of the anti-terrorism security cooperation and development between China and Central Asia under the framework of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, including the establishment of Shanghai Cooperation Organization, geopolitics and the development of China’s security cooperation against terrorism, Central Asia anti-terrorism security cooperation achievements. The third chapter analyzes the influence factors of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization anti-terrorism security cooperation and solutions. The forth chapter prospects for China’s counter-terrorism security cooperation with central Asia, including providing more regional security products, coordinating the interests of the state to improve the international recognition and practicing the “Shanghai spirit” and the “new security concept of Asia” through the analysis of the positioning and mission of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The last is the conclusion.
