Research On The Development Of China 's Government

Since the birth of Micro-blog, it has been popular with the public for its convenience, efficiency, promptness and the nature of grass roots. Now it has become the most influential social platform in our country. Nowadays, economic society is constantly developing. Public awareness is awakening day by day and public’s desire for expression is enhancing. Micro-blog just fills in the blank of the expressing channel for public opinions. The general public starts to concern themselves with politics on Micro-blogs. Especially during the period of "NPC and CPPCC" in 2010, members of CPPCC and NPC discussed the meeting proposals on Micro-blogs with net pals making a wave of micro-blogging politics. The government and public institutions thereby became aware of the potential of micro-blogging politics and government affairs micro-blogs opened one after another to promote citizens’ political participation. Now Government Micro-blogs has become the main implementation patterns of Micro-blogging Politics. On aspects like transparent government affairs, Official-citizen interaction, public service, and democratic decision-making, Government Micro-blogs have taken their unique advantage. The development of the Government Micro-blogs has imposed positive effects in promoting the governing idea changes form the Control-type government to the service-type government, and in the realization of democratic politics.But Government Micro-blogs as newly sprouted things are still in their preliminary exploration stage. Problems demanding prompt solutions keep appearing in the development procedure.This study starts with the empirical analysis of the Government Micro-blogs of Shaanxi Province, aiming to analyze the problems on the development of Government Micro-blogs in China. Presently problems like uneven distribution, insufficient interaction, low activity level and little attention are affecting the realization of the Micro-blogging Politics. Therefore, governments shall identify the role definition of the Government Micro-blogs, strengthen the grass root blog construction, provide institutional guarantee for Government Micro-blogs management, and enhance the interactive mechanism of the Micro-blogging politics to escort the development of the Government Micro-blogs.
