Objective: In order to provide the reference basis for improving the enthusiasm of police in work,this study try to discuss the relationship among organizational support, psychological capital andjob involvement of police.Methods: We use stratified cluster sampling method to extract400police from Jinan and Weifang.Take organizational support scale, psychological capital scale and job involvement scale to surveythe issue. As a result, we get341effective questionnaires from400police. We use SPSS17.0andAmos17.0software for statistical analysis.Results:(1) Organizational support, psychological capital and job involvement of police havedemographic differences. Organization support of female police is significantly higher than male,psychological capital and job involvement of married police are higher than unmarried police andpsychological capital of police with long working life is significantly higher than the police ofshorter working life.(2) There is a significant positive correlation among organizational support, psychological capitaland job involvement of police.(3)Through multiple regression and path analysis, we found that psychological capital plays amediating role in the influence of organizational support to job involvement. Psychological capitalcan make strengthen to the influence of organizational support to job involvement, organizationalsupport can directly affect job involvement, and can also indirectly affect job involvement throughthe influence of psychological capital.(4) Through multiple group analysis based on path analysis, we found that the unmarried police ismore sensitive to organizational support, the same organizational support for unmarried police canbring higher job involvement. While the gender and working years have no significant effect on thepath of variables.Conclusion: We should take a different approach to treat the police according to their gender,marital status and working fixed number of year, etc., In order to arouse their working enthusiasm,and to strengthen their job involvement, We should afford more support to the police in their workand improve their psychological capital.
