An Investigation Report On Juvenile Delinquency In A County Of Chongqing Municipality

Our Minor Crime conditions have shown a characteristic of many stages in nearly40years of development. In recent10years, the proportion of Minor Crime is still rising steadily.The grim reality has been one of the social problems that affect social harmony and stability.The author took the opportunity of practicing at A County People’s Procuratorate ofChongqing Municipality to collect relevant information of Minor Crime by various methods.And Summarized and analyzed the characteristics of Minor Crime and causes basing on the2010-2012Minor Crime statistics and questionnaire of A County, which would be useful forpreventing and control Minor Crime.The first part summarizes A county’s Minor Crime status and characteristics according torelevant statistics. Firstly, according to he2010-2012Minor Crime statistics of A County,there is a summary of overall Minor Crime situation. Secondly, there summarizes the subjectand form characteristics of Minor Crime basing on the tables and chart.The second part summarizes the major factors which influence Minor Crime accordingto the analysis of A County’s Minor Crime characteristics. By digging the causes of thecharacteristics, we find four factors of Minor Crime which include family environment,school education, social environment and individual factors.The third part proposes Minor Crime prevention and control measures and suggestionsaccording to the major factors which influence Minor Crime. In the aspect of family, thereneeds an improving of parents’ own quality and the level of family education. In the aspect ofschool, there needs to improve the quality of education and improve the internal and externalenvironment of schools. In the aspect of society, there needs to purify community atmosphereand Improve the cultural environment. In the aspect of individual, there needs self-disciplineand self-perfection. In the aspect of the criminal policy, there needs to confirm the principle ofmaximizing the interests of minors and improve physical and procedural legislation.
