| About recently twenty years,software industry become the core of information industry and the new point of growth of the national economy. Since 1990s,the competitive environment appears the dynamic state.Software industry not only developes on the dynamic competitive enviroment,but also the characteristics of software industry make it be a highly dynamic competitive industry which full of risks and opportunities.So,that how does software enterprise sets up dynamic competitive advantage is very important. The dynamic competitive theory is the front of strategic management.This paper studies the dynamic competitive advantage formation of software enterprise in the base of the dynamic competitive theory ,from the characteristics and the economic laws of software product and by systematical normative method and case analysis method. The main fruits of the paper are: (1) The paper constructs the dynamic evolving picture in the base of reviewing competitive advantage theories and combining with the characteristics of dynamic competition. It studies the reasons of competitive advantage dissipation ,the methods how to establish protection mechanism ,the methods and steps of discovering and founding new competitive advantage sources. (2) The paper studies the characteristics and economic laws of software product and obtains the totally different economic laws from traditional product. (3) The paper analyses the competitive essence of software enterprises and the reasons that cause highly dynamic competition and constructs dynamic competition medule.Combinating cases with above study fruits,this thesis studies dynamic competitive advantage formation of software enterprise and obtains three key factors which affect dynamic competitive advantage formation.
