Key Technologies And System Realization Of Networked Road Design Project Management

Road engineering design is an important business process of transpotation project and design enterprise. Project management is an effective and powerful approach for planning and controlling of road design process in modern design enterprises.Aiming at urgent requirements for project management in transportation design enterprises, this paper carried out the research on key technologies and system development of networked project management for road design project, using networked project management and communication technologies. At first, the paper analyzed current situations of road design project management, and proposed system requirements and general technology solutions for networked road design project management. The second chapter discussed the primary scheme of networked road design project management, including platform system architecture, function framework, and cooperation mode. Base on the primary scheme, the third chapter presented systemically the key technologies for implementing networked road design project management, including road design process analyzing and optimizing, networked planning and controlling, networked project organizing and cooperating, and project information management. The primary scheme and key technologies were realized in a networked road design project management system developed based on commercial project software. The fourth chapter gave the development method, the functional framework of the system, and an application case of the system running.We can draw the conclusion from the actual application, that networked road design project management technologies and system play an important role on improving management efficiency of design project, dynamically optimizing design resource, controlling and adjusting real-time project plan, and scientifically evaluating engineers' performance.
