The characteristic of architectural design profession- is knowledge-intensive and technology-intensive. In this profession, knowledge and intelligence are the most important resources being possessed, produced, assigned, used and disposed. Knowledge, intelligence and information play a decisive role in an architectural design enterprise. As a result, qualified technicians become the scarcest resource in any architectural design enterprise. The FX Architectural Design Institute, for instance, is short of talented technicians. Moreover, as a small-sized enterprise, there are many restricted factors in terms of attracting and training talented technician. Human resource has become the most significant obstacle to the growth and development of a small-sized architectural design enterprise. This thesis attempts to analyze the restricted factors in the aspects of promoting the level of human resources management in a small-sized architectural design enterprise, taking FX Architectural Design Institute as example. In addition, this thesis puts forward some countermeasures and plans in order to promote the level of human resources management in a small-sized architectural design enterprise.This thesis is divided into seven parts: (2) The first part primarily explains the background and significance of the research in this thesis.Then, it introduces the train of thoughts of the research. Finally, it introduces the frame and new ideas in this thesis. ?The second part introduces the concept and importance of human resources management in brief. ?The third part introduces the establishment of FX Architectural Design Institute and put forward some problems in the aspects of human resources management. ?The forth part analyses the restricted factors in the aspects of promoting the level of human resources management in a small-sized architectural design enterprise, taking FX Architectural Design Institute as example. ?The fifth part analyses theoretically the solution of the problems of human resources management. ?The sixth part puts forward some countermeasures in order to promote the level of human resources management, taking FX Architectural Design Institute as example. ?The seventh part summarizes the viewpoints in this thesis.
