This paper has carried on comparatively systematic analysis to the competitiveness formation mechanism of automobile industry on the basis of sketching domestic and international relevant documents. Setting up the industrial competitiveness appraising index and appraising models of automobile industry of Anhui province from the survival ability, develop ability and ability to resist risk, and using the analytic hierarchy process and fuzzy evaluation to analyse the synthesized competitiveness of automobile industry of Anhui, it is concluded that the average value is 71.66. According to the shinning ralation between the synthesized competitiveness index value and the appraising interval in the model, it is indicated that the synthesized competitiveness of the automobile industry of Anhui Province is relatively weak. Finally, based on the current situation of the automobile industry of Anhui, while actively drawing the development experience of automobile industries of other countries or regions, the paper proposes the countermeasure and suggestions to promote automobile industry of Anhui Province from the four aspects, large-scale production strategy, technological innovation strategy, the innovation strategy of marketing and key talent.
