Since Professor Michael E. Porter of American Harvard Business School put forward the theory of value chain in his book Competition Advantage, the research on value chain has been a popular subject. Today, with increasingly fierce competition, more and more enterprises began to realize that traditional supply chain management has not been able to meet the demand of competition. However, the present trend of Economic Integration, popular strategic alliance and fast developing information technology have promoted the transition in enterprises from traditional supply chain management to value chain management.The author makes the analysis of enterprise's value chain and competition advantage on the basis of Chinese cosmetics trade. With C-Bons Group as the representative of Chinese cosmetics enterprises and taking the method of case study, the author starts from strategic management and makes detailed and concrete analysis of the way of value chain management and the creation of enterprise's competition advantage.
