Research into the existing problems, reasons and corrective actions on Talents test field— Application of the testing and assessingmethods on post competencyThe rapid development of science and technology results in that competition among enterprises has been turned into talents competition mainly. The key point of human resource management is that how to choose suitable talents and how to assess present talents. Based on this point, this text probes into the methods of testing and assessing talents from theoretical and practical sides.The first part mainly introduces the actualities and tendency of assessing talents' technology. It introduces the development process from different angles and brings forward the tendency based on the evolvement. The second part describes the common assess types, methods and theoretical evaluation, more details on assessing methods in particular. The third part analyzes the existing problems in talents assess filed of Chinese enterprises, also makes a deep analysis to its reasons and comes up with some corrective actions.The fourth part is the keystone of this article, which focuses on the application of testing and assessing the post competency, and takes Hubei Gold Three Gorges Printing Co. Ltd. as a typical example. It tests and assesses the competency of the present main management from four major depts. of Gold Three Gorges and evaluates their level of competency to their work and find the discrepancy between their work performance and post requirement on the basis of assess results, then comes up with corrective actions.This article proposes in the conclusion that the index of determining nature of testing and assessing can be turned into quantitative index, i.e. quantified the testing and assessing results; and points out that talents test will have a broad application with more and more attention to human resource management in enterprises.
