For a mass of multinational corporations entered our country under the transition period from planned economy to market economy and the further promotion of reform and opening-up. It will be difficult for State-owned Corporation to only use some old strengths, such as government relation, national background, region protection, to get persistent competition ability for a long time in the drastic market. The new environment changed the range, content, subject and form of enterprise's competition. In order to tackle the challenge of survival and development, primary task of Chinese enterprises is to study, explore actively, constructs and strengthens the own enterprise competition ability as soon as possible. In the face of the fierce market competition, it's the important issue for State-owned Corporation to promote enterprises'competition ability as soon as possible. This thesis will proceed from angle of human resource management, it will analyze and discuss the current situation of the human resource management of our State-owned corporations. And it will put forward some suggestion and countermeasure on staff's career management of State-owned corporations in order to strengthen the synthesized competition ability of State-owned corporations. At first, the thesis has put forward the problem of career management in the State-owned corporations, and introduced the definition, function of career management and current study situation both at home and abroad; Then, it has analyzed the current situation of human resource management of State-owned corporations in our country, and has offered the countermeasure and suggestion in terms of career management on the existing problem; Finally, thesis studied a large-scale State-owned corporation's career management case. This thesis get some conclusions via the analysis of the career management of our State-owned corporations: Career management is a valid way to explore and utilize the HR of State-owned corporation; Career management is useful to upgrade the staff's job enthusiasm and loyalty for their corporation; Career management is a valid guarantee for State-owned corporation to get the persistent development.
