With the progress of social economy development and cooperation level, the marketcompetition is being increasingly transformed from material resources to human resourcesand as a professional tool for modern human resource development, the career planning andmanagement has been more and more attaching the attention of managers. In XC company,the existing career management not only doesn’t effectively inspires staff’s enthusiasm, butalso becomes an important reason for staff demission, which is contrary to futuredevelopment strategy of company. So what they desperately needed is to improvement andperfection of the occupation career management existing work so as to promote thein-company human resource management level and core competitiveness of enterprises.This paper bases on the principle of linking theory with practice and combination ofqualitative and quantitative methods, by questionnaire survey method, literature researchmethod and interview method, etc. and through the survey of staff career management statusof XC company and summary analysis on relevant data, to find out the existing problems intheir career management, which are been gathered together for analysis, discussion andconfirmation, then it finds out the reasons and proposes the corresponding solutions.Firstly, this paper starts with the related concepts and correlation theories of careermanagement to analyze the concept and meaning of career management planning andmanagement, which tells that the personal career development is closely related to enterprisedevelopment. Secondly, it introduces the basic information of XC company and analyzes theexisting problems in human resource management of company, focusing on the advantagesand disadvantages in aspect of career management. Thirdly, for the existing problems incareer management planning and management of XC company, it applies the careermanagement theory to put forward career management improvement idea of XC company aswell as works out related strategies. It highlights that the company attaches great importanceto the staff career management which is been taken as a system engineering to be handled inhuman resource strategy work. Lastly, it proposes that the organization, system, culturesystems and other aspects should be built so that to ensure the new career managementmeasures to be smoothly and effectively been carried out in XC company.This paper introduces the career management theory into XC company, so it perfects and improves its career management level. If the scheme is been effectively performed, this paperwill hopefully offer a reference for the reinforcement of further management level in othersuch enterprise.
