Research On Technological Innovation Pattern Of Zhejiang Non-government Enterprises

Technological innovation plays a crucial role in economic growth and enterprise development. In an industry cluster, in addition to the enterprises as such, governments, intermediary organizations, universities, and scientific institutes exert great influence on technological innovation. As a result, an industry cluster can be considered as a dynamic and complex innovation network; elements in an industrial cluster can be looked as network nodes; technological innovation can be regarded as being developed within networks.In contrast to traditional perspectives regarding technological innovation study, that is, to study the technological activity in itself, this thesis studies technological innovation pattern of Zhejiang Non-government Enterprises (NGE) from a perspective of social network and complex network. Analyzing the links and the structure of networks suggests that small-world phenomena exist in technological innovation network of Zhejiang NGE. Pointing out that low separation of small-world network has led to high network efficiency, this thesis expounds that why the technological innovation of Zhejiang NGE has made such a big progress in past years. Further, the analyses of the evolution of technological innovation network shows that many innovation networks are scale-free ones, that is, a minority of nodes in the network own a majority of links. Because of this characteristic in structure, technological innovation networks are very stable. In addition, regarding how to establish links to international networks, this thesis puts forward the conclusion that links should be established according to complex network modes in order to maximize the network efficiency with the restriction of resources.As to problems existing within the technological innovation networks of Zhejiang NGE and how to strengthen the function of technological innovation network, this thesis proposes that it is important to optimize innovation networks' links and nodes so that more independent technological innovation will be carried out at the same time of learning from international advanced technology.
