The Anshan New Urban Areas Developing And Planning Strategies Research

Anshan, an industrial city famous for Angang Iron & Steel Complex, played akey role in the construction of new China. With the further reform and opening up,Anshan was faced with serious challenges such as the decline of traditional industry,the transformation of city functions and the reconstruction of the city image. How cana resourceful city surpass itself and boost its competition force has become animportant issue for every Anshan constructor.The thesis at first analyses the regional environment of Anshan and clarifies thatdeveloping new urban areas is to construct big Anshan and to meet the subjectrequirements of social and economic development. The thesis systematically analysesthe experiences and lessons of the resourceful cities on both national and internationallevels in the process of their development and industries transformation. The thesisaims to find out the future development direction of city functions by comparing andanalyzing the industrial structure of Anhsan. The development and construction ofnew urban areas is the building block and industry foundation of the sustainingdevelopment. The thesis also aims to present some theoretical discussions for thesecond revitalization of Anshan city.
