Compensation design is the prerequisite of setting up moderncompensation management system and essential part of it .It is a veryimportant subject that how to design and establish a set of scientificcompensation management system according to the actual conditions ofChina, hich can adapt to the need of the development of the enterprise andpromote in the knowledge economy and economic globalization. Proceedingfrom basic theory of the compensation system of Tianjin Netcom and putforward the company's tentative plans for the reform of compensationmanagement system to solve some problems of the system so as to make itmore rational and reasonable.This paper first discusses the basic theory of the compensationmanagement and studies its meaning, functions, influence factors and basicdesign principles. Then the compensation system of Tianjin Netcom isanalyzed in depth. Last, on the basis of such analysis, the company'stentative plans for the reform of compensation management systems is putforward to solve some problems of the system according to the needs of therealistic situation of management.
