| With the globalization and marketization of economy, there is a trend of operation complication and geography distribution of enterprises. Enterprise competition level has turned from a single enterprise to the general strength of total supply chain, which can engender win-win competition. In order to integrate the competition of the whole supply chain, it is necessary to have a comprehensive and profound understanding of supply chain, and to establish a set of supply chain performance evaluation (SCPE) system through which the firm can find what are its strengths and weaknesses as well as that of the whole supply chain's. Thus, it can provide some scientific evidence to decide what it endeavor to improve. Firstly, the paper explains the relative research review of SCPE, and discusses the basic theory and the common methods which related to the study of SCPE. The former mainly includes the significance, principle and process of SCPE, and the latter mainly comprises ROF method, SCOR model of supply chain running, benchmarking, supply chain performance testing and diagnosing. Secondly, it analyzes the building of the three-level SCPE, which mainly involves the build of the ending level, the operation level and the support level of the SCPE. There are some factors related to these buildings comprising consumer's satisfaction, finance management condition, operation process, information sharing, organization learning and incentive mechanism, et al. Thirdly, some problems about the SCPE sub-systems from the angle of suppliers and the core firm. Based on the classification of the supplies according to the efficiency and the innovation, the paper discusses the short efficient supplier's performance evaluation (PE), the short innovation supplier's PE, the long efficient supplier's PE and the long innovation supplier's PE. For the core firm, it emphatically analyzes the inner PE system along with the PE system of its suppliers and distributors. Finally, since the information system is necessary for building the SCPE system, we present the basic design of the information system including the purpose, principle and framework. |
