Supply Chain Performance Evaluation Index System

Nowadays the world globalizes day by day. China is emerging rapidly in the capacity of a big country of manufacturing industry, and becomes a very important key part of the supply chain in the whole world. Meanwhile, Chinese enterprises begin in the face of the competition coming from the global rivals, "The future competition is not the one between enterprise and enterprise, but between the supply chains". So how to appraise the performance of the supply chain becomes a question that is worth probing into effectively.The author elaborates the important realistic meanings of the supply chain and the application of the system, by introducing the background, essential features and theoretical foundation of the supply chain management. The thesis concentrates on analyzing the system of the supply chain measurements and the theoretical foundation of it. To achieve "balance", the methodology prescribes the strategic assessment of four perspectives: financial, customer, internal, and innovation and growth. It provides the individual opinions on how to take the performance measurement of the supply chain and the prospects of it in the new situation.This thesis can be divided into four chapters:Firstly, there is an introduction to the relative concepts and fundamentals of the supply chain measurement, which includes the relative concepts and the fundamental of the supply chain measurement. The relative concepts include the supply chain, supply chain measurement and the system of the supply chain measurement. The fundamentals include the Supply Chain Management and Stakeholder principle.Secondly, it points out the characters of the Supply Chain Management and the choice of the construction model. The characters include idea and weakness of the traditional measurement and construction idea and characteristics of the system of the supply chain measurement. The choice of the construction model includes SCOR, BSC and the choice of the construction model.Thirdly, it introduces the construction of the system of the indicators. It includes the principle of the choice, construction of the supply chain measurement and the comprehensive supply chain measurement. There are four angels to build up the system, which are users, internal process, learn and grow up and finance.Lastly, it ends with a conclusion.The author applies Supply Chain Management, Stakeholder principles and Balanced Scorecard to build up the system of the performance measurement of the supply chain and then introduces it from four perspectives: financial, customer, internal, and innovation and growth. The characters satisfy the requests of the supply chain performance measurements. It emphasizes the integrated function which can realize the unification of the long and short terms interests, and regard the reforms and improvements of the operation process.
