The Study On Construction Project Risk Management For Contractors

In our Country, Construction project, as its special quality and Characteristics, suchas market and social dependence, will involve more indeterminate factors, Morecomplicated risk and more loss of the risk. In order to win the construction projectsmoothly and manage it well , Contractors have to manage project risk scientifically andsuccessfully.Firstly, the Current research situation and development project risk managementare analyzde in this paper. Then a further study on project risk identification, project riskanalysis and project risk response and project risk control strategy is made.Based on the analysis result and Contractors'work process in constructionproject ,this paper make a deep study in risk management for Contractors inconstruction project bidding phase, project construction phase and project gurantee fordefect phase. In the first phase, according to the information gettde in different periods,incorporate the bidding pocedure of construction company .This paper present an AHPevaluation system of risk management;In the second phase,based on the combination ofWBS(the work breakdown structure)and RBS(the Risk Breakdown structure),throughcontrolling the smaller unit of the easy to management with the target for progress, Cost,quality and HSE which also include the whole building sites, Contractors will fulfil thewhole project objectives;In the third phase, through identifying,Categorizing thevarious risk to meet possibly with checklist and drawing up corresponding measure,Constractors will control and decrease the bane and the influence to cause possibly.Finally, combined to gether with cases ananlyses, this paper present the majormethods and critical techlogy used in construction project risk management forContractors. Inspired from the cases, the auther thinks this risk management process isof a good applicable value for risk management for those Constraction companies, andas well as of a reference for risk mangement for other orgernizations.
