The world has come into the era with knowledge as an important role, in which knowledge is changing quickly. Knowledge has already been the most important resources for both enterprises' strategy and their advantages. Knowledge management has been introduced by more and more companies and different companies have set up knowledge alliance for knowledge transfer among them. However, in reality knowledge transfer does not reach an expected goal. Thus knowledge transfer in knowledge alliance has become a hot issue in the community of both enterprisers and scholars. At present, in the community of scholars researches on knowledge transfer have been carried out either on knowledge transfer process or on influencing factors, which seems a little unilateral. Based on knowledge transfer process, the paper analyzes influencing factors. According to different phases of knowledge transfer in knowledge alliance, the paper analyzes influencing factors respectively. Scholars have not come to an agreement on how to divide knowledge transfer process. Based on knowledge's attribute and cognitive science, the paper divides knowledge transfer process in knowledge alliance into information transfer among associations and cognitive phase inside. After analyzing influencing factors systematically in different phases, the paper puts forward relative hypothesis and verifies them through an empirical study. According to the study, the paper puts forward several proposals, which may be meaningful for knowledge transfer in knowledge alliance.Firstly, the paper reviews all the literature on the theory of both knowledge alliance and knowledge transfer, and then tells the deficiencies. Secondly, the paper sets up a model of knowledge transfer process and influencing factors, and puts forward 4 hypotheses theoretically. Thirdly the paper verifies them through an empirical study, which includes questionnaire designing, data collection, data analysis with SPSS and hypothesis verifying. The 4 hypotheses are verified at last. Finally the paper summarizes the conclusions, the innovations, the limitation of the research and future study.
