The Study On Evaluation Of Land Use Efficiency In Baoding City

With rapid development of industrialization and urbanizing, the antinomy between supply and demand of land becomes gradually nervous, also the pollution and degeneration of land becomes gradually serious because of mankind's incorrect exploitation toward land, so the vocice of calling for using land sustainably is higher and higher. In regard to Chinese, large population-little land, lack of distributing balance in space, and more serious lack of spare resources are the basic characters of our land resources, as well as we are experiencing a special period that economy increases in a high speed and urban areas develops currently, so land use is facing rigorous test. Improving land use efficiency is the key to solve those problems, which is directed by sustainable developing theory and scientific developing view to impove economic, ecological and social land use efficiency all in the same time and then get their coordination and combination. It gives vast developing space to the study of land use efficiency evaluation.Making actual land use sitiutation and economic social development as a basis, this thesis gives a study on evaluation of land use efficiency in theoretical and experienced aspects. It includes tow parts: the first one is theoretical study which includes chapter 1 to chapter 4;and the other one is practical study which includes chapter 5 to chapter 8. Chapter 1 introduces the study background, and gives a backward look and summary of the present study sitiutation, and lays out the study contents and methords.Chaper 2 analyzes some related concepts and theories, and also builds up the logic relation of them. Chapter 3 constructs evaluation principles and process under the backward basic theories, and selects a series of study methords in property aspect and quantity aspect, and also introduces their prior conditions, advantages and disadvantages in order to choose in practice;Chapter 4 introduces the indictor system of land use efficiency evaluation in detail. Chapter 5 analyzes the present conditions of land use in Baoding city and gives out the characters and problems now. Chapter 6 makes use of the evaluation principles and process, applying coordination function model and TOPSIS model, also applying variation coefficient method and dispersion method and etc. to evaluates the land use efficiency of Baoding city in 1994-2004 years in lengthways, then it makes use of SPSS to analyzes the evaluationresults to give some conclusions: the land use efficiency increased year by year in evaluation zone;and the development of land use efficiency appeared some periods, which the second turn of land use implement played an important role to improve the land use efficiency;and the factors influencing the land use effiency include aggressive factors as well as negative factors. Chapter 7 tells that if we want to improve the land use efficiency in future, we should adopt some measures in establishing guide thought, speeding adjustment of industrial structure, contributing land market, improving management level, strengthening protection of farmland and controlling the population.and etc..Chapter 8 makes a summary of the whole thesis to lay out the achievements and shortages of this thesis.The innovations of this thesis include: it constructs complete theory support system and evaluating process of land use efficiency evaluation in theoretical aspect;and it makes use of the evaluation principles and process to evaluates the land use efficiency of Baoding city in 1994-2004 years in lengthways, analyzing the factors influcing the variety of land use efficiency, and gives out some measures to improve the land use efficiecy infuture in practical aspect. It can give help to the sustainable using of land in Baoding city.
