The imbalance in the regions'economy development has not only been the major restricting contradiction but also the significant realm of regional economics. The east of northeast China is a especially complex area as a frontier area, entironment being sensitive and fragile, where minorities congregate. Along with the northeast China as an old industrial base's reconstructing and developing, the east of northeast China has drawn more attention for being economy-edged and the construction of Eastern Border Railway will come into fact during The Eleventh Five-Year Plan period with the aim to improve the economic spatial structure.The Eastern Border Railway has several strategic effects on regional social and economic system, such as improving the integrating transport network, promoting the resources'flow, changing resource advantages into economy advantages and resolving the reasonable successive industry development for resource-typed cities. Based on the above, the railway will make great influence on the economy spatial structure in the east of northeast China. Support by the Eastern Border Railway, which can be expect is that the development's axes and even the traffic economic belt will be formed, strongly assisting the major economy belt as the middle traffic economic belt in northeast China.Studying from traffic condition aspect to discuss optimizing regional spatial structure has important meaning to both theory and practice. Therefore, the paper integrated with relevant theories on regional spatial structure and traffic economy belt and made a careful study of the regional characteristics, problems and economic spatial structure evolvement's mechanism in the east of northeast China. Based on the above, this paper tried to forecasted the developing trends of transport passageway system, inquire the responses of both entironment and economy-social system on the construction of transport passageway system and explore its influences on the evolutional postures of regional economic spatial structure. At last, the author put forward several suggestions on building the traffic economic belt in the east of northeast China.
