Analysis On Spatial Relationship And Interactive Development Of Liaoning Costal Economic Belt And The Hinterland Of Northeast China

With China’s twelfth Five-Year Plan beginning, the government sets13areas as national strategic areas in succession. All provinces in Northeast China have been involved. When the new economic era comes, Northeast China faces a new opportunity to consolidate and promote the achievements has gained. In this process, it is critical that Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt and the hinterland develop in integration, so the status of integrate development will be analyses. First of all, the natural resources, human resources and technology resources are summarized, in the meantime, the tendency of economic development, the mutual promotion effect, industry dominant position in comprehensive evaluation are analyses. Secondly, the extended gravitational model which take the comprehensive economic elements in consideration is used to analyses the special affinity between the6cities in Liaoning coastal economic belt and northeast hinterland, and also to compare them in order to get the gravitation hierarchy. Moreover on this basis, spatial contact potentials are obtained aiming to show the trend of the space connection’development in the passed5years. And, the DEA model is used to analyze spatial contact efficiency and what need to improve.The combined result of qualitative and quantitative analysis show that, based on the regional spatial relations Liaoning coastal economic belt and the northeast hinterland interactive development exhibits a stable structure. Firstly, natural resources, human resources, technology resources have both differences and relevance. And interactive development strategy’s implementation has already got some effects on promoting industrial construction and economic development, especially on the economic growth. Secondly, Liaoning coastal economic belt play the leading role effectively, the hinterland space could be divided into three levels according to the special relationship, the line between Harbin and Dalian is the main line. Thirdly, among the counties in Liaoning coastal economic belt Dalian plays the most important role. Forthly, distance factors still play a great role, however, with the developing of countries, the integrated strength is able to compensate for the defects of space distance. In addition, extroversional industry has important influence on spatial linkage, too. Based on the present situation, Liaoning coastal economic belt and the northeast hinterland should establish regional coordinating mechanism of organizations, develop the marine economic and land economic as a whole, continue to improve the traffic information network. Moreover Liaoning Coastal Economic Belt should develop counties according to their advantages differently, and play the leading role of Dalian. Finally, interactive development between coastal area and the hinterland could run effectively and smoothly in order to promoting the revitalization’s current success with the strategy of regional integration.
