The viewpoint of Behavior Geography explain that the knowledge on behaviors and decisions that affect humanity phenomena is conducive to the understanding of the humanity phenomenon' s mode and space on the surface of the Earth. Travel decision-making behavior plays an important role in tourists' behaviors. The domestic researches are divided in many fields, neglect systematic and multidiscipline visual angles, lack the study on travel decision-making behaviors of tourists inbound mainly.The paper is based on the models of decision-making and that of consumption behavior, adapts the broad concept of travel decision-making, uses many methods, tries to explore travel consumption decision-making behaviors in different stages which are based on the process of tourists' behaviors, and constructs the model of travel consumption decision-making behavior. The paper takes travel consumption decision-making behaviors as the objective point, the Japanese tourists inbound as the concrete research object, tries hard to summarize the travel consumption decision-making behavior mode of all the Japanese tourists inbound and the laws of Japanese tourists with different demographic characteristics, provides a guidance for improving the travel experience quality of Japanese tourists inbound and the reception scale of Japan marketing inbound, even promoting the sustained development of it.The paper consists of five chapters.Chapter 1 introduces some background knowledge, including the development of tourism both in China and worldwide, and the current situation of tourism research. Finally, it points out the significance of the paper, the research mentality and the method.Chapter 2 introduces the basic theories on the researches of travel consumption decision-making behaviorChapter 3 builds the research frame of travel consumption decision-making behavior mode. Then it analyses the mode as following: theaffective factors of travel consumption decision-making, travel demand cognition, travel information collection, the cognition of travel destination images, the preference of travel consumption, the evaluation of travel destination images.Chapter 4 is the crucial part of the paper, discussing the mode of Japanese tourist' s travel consumption decision-making behavior.Chapter 5 summarizes the main points of the paper.
