Research On Regional Economic Cooperation In Six Provinces Of Mid-China

Regional Economy Cooperation is concrete embodiment of economic development in space and it is an effective way to break through the limit of single regional resources and productivity. The ess(?)ntial content of it is motion and re-collocation of productive factors among regions. The ally of six provinces in central China is a form of Regional Economy Cooperation .The re-collocation and innovation of the productive factors can promote the regional economic growth, develop the advantageous resources, accelerate the technological progress, stimulate the transformation of economic structure, motivate the innovation of the regional institutions, and impel the social progress in all-round way. The six provinces in central China enjoy the advantages of rich natural resources, talents and highly relevant industrial chains. Their cooperation should strengthen the building of city agglomeration and the construction of urban circle in central China. Great importance should be attached to agriculture, energy, raw materials, production of modern equipment, hi-tech industries and traffic network for the construction of three bases in the area. Also attentions should be paid to professional division and cooperation, the extension of advantageous industrial chains, the development of delivery networks and raw material markets in six provinces.This dissertation conducted a thorough study and profound consideration on the significance and conditions of the cooperation among six provinces in Central China with methods of applying theories to practices and combining quantitative analysis with qualitative analysis from perspectives of Regional Economics and Humane Geography. Basing on these, the dissertation also explores the ways of regional economic cooperation and the cooperative policies in six mid-provinces. The dissertation consists of six chapters, and from chapter six to chapter seven is the core.Chapter 1 is an introduction to the background, significance, purpose, methods, innovations and inadequacy of the research.Chapter 2 defines the meanings of regional economic cooperation and reviews relevant theories about regional economic cooperation in foreign countries as well as the practices of Regional Economic Cooperation in China.Chapter 3 to chapter 4 conducts a profound research and reflection on regional economic cooperation in mid-china from perspectives of current situation, possibility, necessity and significance.Based on the previous analysis, Chapter 5- 6 further explores the ways and policies of Regional Economic Cooperation in six provinces so as to provide Regional Economic Cooperation in central China with theoretical supports and guidelines.
