Study On Community Tourism Development Mechanism

On the basis of literature study and field study, this paper systematically studied community tourism. Firstly, the author defined the concepts such as community, tourism community and community tourism, moreover, the author analyzed the relationship between community tourism and community participation in tourism development. Then, the author summarized some theoretical studies about community tourism, including the development goals, development principles and limited factors to development. Secondly, the author carried out field study, through SPSS software, the author made the following analyses: means, correlation and factor analysis. Thus, the author proposed the development mechanism framework for community tourism in China. Lastly, the author reviewed the study achievements and pointed out this study's innovation and limitation.As for the methodology, this paper mainly adopted the combination of theoretical study and field study. Firstly, through plenty of literature study, the author gave definition to the concept of community tourism. Then, carrying out questionnaire research, interview and field observation, the author analyzed the data by SPSS and proposed the development mechanism framework for community tourism.The author thought, community tourism is a kind of tourism development pattern, which carries out within the community, depending on community's various resources, the community has an important role in decision-making, planning, implementation, supervision and cost-sharing of tourism development. Therefore, it not only provides quality tourism products for tourists, but also brings considerable socio-cultural, economic and environmental benefits for the community, thus, realizing the ideal of community-tourism's harmonious and sustainable development.
