At Chengjiao Coal Mine, the mining activity goes deeper.The mining depth aregradually largened with larger ground pressure.In the precess of rock drift excavating,roadway with large section and traversing fault, appeared multiform supportfailure.The difficulty of roadway support is increasingly outstanding.Classification ofgeological characteristics in deep rock roadway of Chengjiao Coal Mine can be usedto the selection of reasonable supporting scheme.First of all, based on the on-site investigation, laboratory testing and otherresearch means.This paper background of geological characteristics in deep rockroadway of chengjiao coal mine, analyzed the hydrogeological features of deep rockroadway in Chengjiao Coal Mine, completed the measuring of rock mechanics andsurrounding rock loose circle, prepare for classification of geological characteristics indeep rock roadway of Chengjiao Coal Mine.Secondly, through the stress measuring, the rock mechanics measuring and theinvestigation of geological characteristics of deep rock roadway in Chengjiao CoalMine, it analysis to determination of geological characteristics classification index,including the strength of stress, the basic quality index of rock mass and undergoingstructural influence. Based on comprehensive analysis of geological characteristics intypical rock roadway, every classification index was divided into several types. Afterthe combined classification, the deep rock roadway in Chengjiao Coal Mine will bedivided into5types, and correspondingly put forward reasonable support parameterof roadway.Finally, supporting countermeasure has run stably in the track roadway of southlimb. After two months field construction, completed300m construction projects ofthe test roadway segment. After the first half of the field monitoring, roadway didn’tappear multiform support failure, such as the tensile failure of the anchor, the crackingof gunite skin, floor heave and so on.It has achieved the expectant effect.Results ofground pressure observations indicated that the deformation of roadway wascompletely under control. The amount of roadway deformation was almost unchanged.The support scheme of track-roadway in south limb was reasonable.This roadway supporting system was stable, safety, reliable, and achieves theexpected effect of supporting.It formed classification of geological characteristicsunder the similar difficult conditions. It improved the whole construction quality of the rock roadway in Chengjiao Coal Mine.
