The employees’ unsafe behavior prevention and management of coal miningenterprises are always the key problem in safety production and safety management.In order to prevent the occurrence of coal mining accidents, it is necessaryto research the employees’ unsafe behavior in coal mining enterprise and to find theeffective method to control unsafe behavior. The coal mining staff groups have thebasic characteristics of general population groups. In community environment, thecoal mining employees’ attitude and behavior are easily affected by the group power.So, it is very necessary to research the employees’ unsafe behavior prevention andcontrol in coal mining enterprises from the group dynamic perspective. Using themethod of theoretical research and empirical research combined, This paperdiscusses the relation between the group dynamics and the employees’unsafe behavior in coal mining enterprises, hoping that it can provide new ideas forcoal mining enterprise in the field of employees’ unsafe behavior management.Through literature and theoretical analysis, this paper defines the concept andconnotation of the employees’ unsafe behavior and group dynamics in coal miningenterprises. And also this paper puts forward six factors of group dynamic in coalmining enterprises: group appeal、group cohesion、group pressure、 group safetynorms、group safety incentive、group communication. For convenience, this papertakes the employees’ unsafe behavior as result variables, including unsafe obediencebehavior and unsafe participative behavior. Through the people’s behavior patternanalysis, this paper chooses safety awareness and safety motivation as the mediatevariable between group dynamic and the employees’ unsafe behavior in coal miningenterprises. Based on the theoretical analysis, this paper constructs atheoretical model of group dynamics influencing employees’ unsafe behavior in coalmining enterprises, and also puts forward the related research hypotheses.On the basis of theoretical analysis, firstly, this paper designs a questionnaire andselects several coal mining enterprises to collect the sample data. Secondly, we useSPSS18.0and LISREL8.7software to test the reliability and validity of the sampledata,also test the exploratory factor、correlation、mediate variables and structuralequation model. Then we modified the model of groupdynamics influencing employees’ unsafe behavior in coal mining enterprises. Finally,we establish the optimal structural equation model. The results confirm that group dynamics have a major influence on the employees’ unsafe behavior in coal miningenterprises.The research suggests that group dynamics influences the employees’ selectionof safety behavior by affecting the employees’ safety awareness and safetymotivation in coal mining enterprises. Safety awareness and safety motivation play apartial mediating role between group dynamics and the employees’ unsafe behaviorin coal mining enterprises. Based on the analyses above, thispaper proposes the method of the employees’ unsafe behavior control andmanagement of coal mining enterprises based on group dynamics. The methodIncludes six aspects:enhancing group appeal、improving group cohesion、makinggood use of group pressure、improving group safety norms、improving group safetyincentive and establishing a harmonious group communication. Coal miningenterprises can use this method to improve the employees’ safety awareness andguide the employees’ safety motivation, thus regulating the employees’ safetybehavior and achieving safety production and safety management in coal miningenterprises.
