To realize the dynamic tension monitor of frictional hoisting ropes on-line,it is the urgent needs of the mine hoist safety, this paper focus on the design and study of dynamic tension monitor system of steel ropes.Compare ASCII mode with RTU mode, the characters of ASCII mode used is twice the same as the RTU mode, data decoding and handling of ASCII is much easier, and ASCII can be adapt to the fast machine, dynamic tension monitoring of wire ropes requires data processed rapidly, with powerful real-time performance, so the MODBUS communication protocol, ASCII information transfer mode is selected,10diameter communications is set in the mine communication. The program of dynamic tension monitoring contain algorithm, the main program structure, parameter Settings, string encryption to decrypt subroutine, LRC check, filtering, tension overload, unbalance, remaining coal alarm subprogram,etc. One of the most critical is to use the string "1014","1016","1018","101A","101C" and "1024" to demarcate6cables respectively.Make use of PCI data acquisition card to collect the data of wire rope tension, use the program to tag location of the collected data, including six input ports of a PCI cquisition card, with characters respectively1014,1016,1018,101A,101C,1024, the localization of data transmission to MSP430single chip microcomputer, A/D conversion to digital quantity, and then transmit to the PCI acquisition card, and then sent to NRF905module, adopt diversity antenna technology to send wire rope tension data or directional antenna technology.When design program, the overload, imbalance, such as coal remaining,etc.Make definition respectively, which all are expressed in different sound and light alarm at effects of different fault factors, so as to realize the real time of fault diagnosis. Tension will be collected at the same time the large capacity of multi-channel data stored in the database, make use of the database query access protocol, it’s convenient for the data of wire rope tension to facilitate subsequent analysis.The simulated experiment was done for on-line dynamic tension of steels ropes monitor system in the laboratory, the data collection,the transmission and process were done in simulative scene, the experimental results show that the test system meet all the designed functions, it can do industrial experiment and be applied in coal mine area.
