Drill rig for underground coal mine is the main mining equipment pumping hole construction in nowdays coal mine gas. The original ZDY3200S horizontal boring machine adopts full hydraulic split structure, low speed, high torque, large diameter hole drilling, stepless speed regulation can be realized execution device.With development of automated mining technology and demand of underground work, Modern rig should have energy-saving, environmental protection,high efficiency,easy operation and so on, on the basis of the original rig some view and design is put forward to investigate in the paper.Major researches in this paper are as follows:(1) Each device of rig with distributed structure is linked together, although the collapse of the property is good, in underground coalmine, it need to be moved frequently. In the light of the problem, the property of four mobile devices is listed to analyze comparatively and summarized in the paper. Based on the different geological conditions, it is choice of different walking schemes rationally, emphasize on analysis for working principle of the hydraulic walking gait that can adapt migration close.(2) Devsing drill alignment guide could help locate drilling, serves as a guide.(3) From the perspective of environment, during drilling, it will produce a lot of dust, pollution is seriously. According to demands, it is very important to chose appropriate dust removal device by design to solve it.(4) The gas-liquid linkage is imagined and designed to prevent from lost drilling and sticking (5) The whole structure, commonly used hydraulic system, and the working principle of load-sensitivity control system are introduced. Determinately, this system can improve drilling efficiently, qualitatively and reduce energy consumption.(6) SolidWorks drawing software is used to establish practical models of the engaging process, Ansys Workbench simulating software are used to make static and modal mechanical analysis of the engaging process, the analyzing process in Ansys Workbench of helical gear engaging are elaborated in the paper. By comparison between the results of the analysis and Hertz contact theory calculation, it show the finie element is more accurate. modal analysis of gear pair was carried by Ansys Workbench, to extract15-knot natural frequency and main vibration mode. In order to avoid resonance,the frequency of exciting force should be staggered with the system’s natural frequency.(7) The paper have accomplished the type test of the prototype on ZDY3200dig test bench, including no-load performance test, load performance test, overload performance test, tansmission efficiency and so on. Through these test, it analyze the performance parameters of torque, rotational speed, power and rotational efficiency.
