Research On The Life Quality Of Clothing Manufacturing Migrant Workers

This paper researches the quality of life in rural migrant peasant who take on the clothing manufacturing industry from the following 9 aspects:the material, leisure, work, social security, health care, marriage and family, social interaction, the national policy and public service, which is on the basis of existing research results, the quality of life in theory and hierarchy theory of needs, based on the analysis of main using quantitative research methods, wenzhou rural migrant peasant on clothing manufacturing. combining the objective index and subjective indicators in every aspects in order to get comprehensive information of the quality of life about rural migrant workers.Through the analysis of the relevant investigation data, generally described the quality of life of the rural migrant workers at present, analyzed the difference of quality of life satisfaction of migrant workers, also discusses the objective and subjective factors on the quality of living,discovered the main influencing factors. The conclusion are the following several aspects:First, the overall quality of life of the clothing manufacturing industry rural migrant peasant laborer is low.The investigation demonstrated that these rural migrant peasant laborer have low at average wages level, worse situation, high in the Engel's coefficient, long in the working time, hige in the labor intensity, insufficient the leisure time capacity, simple in the leisure activity,low in the social security coverage fraction and the welfare treatment cannot meet the requirements what they want to.According to the subjective appraisal of the life degree of satisfaction, the material benefits is 2.67 points, the leisure is 2.48 points, the public service and the policy is 2.55 points, the health is 2.78 points, the marital family and the social relations 3.58 points, an overall degree of satisfaction value is 2.87 points.Second,rural migrant peasant of different population characteristics have no significant differences evaluation to the overall life quality satisfaction, but there are certain variables in individual fields. Results show that rural migrant peasant with different gender, age and culture level have almost no difference in the assessment of the quality satisfaction of life in general. But in the job satisfaction, it related to age, marital status and gender weakly, in additional, the gender also has related to the income satisfaction.Third, rural migrant peasant generally think that economy income is the most critical factor that affects the quality of life,and leisure, national policy and service, work, and consumption have explanatory power for the satisfaction of their life. Investigation shows that 52.8% of rural migrant peasant consider that economy income is the most important factor which affects the quality of life. And through the examination,we found that the four variables namely leisure, national policy and service, work and consumption can explain the 59.8% of the overall satisfaction.
