Research On Development And Evolution Of Urban System In County Region

Urban system is an organic entirety in a certain geographical area, it is composed by a series of city and town with different ranks, different functions and close interaction, and it takes the center-town as a core. With the development and evolution, the urban system shows some features of mass, relevance, hierarchy, integrity, open and dynamic. Virtually, the urban system is a progressive process evolves from the lower to advanced, and the progress is from formation to development, evolution and matures. An reasonable urban system frame can legitimately deploy regional resources, optimize industrial distribution,expand investment benefit,to promotes the regional economy growth rapidly. However, because of the unreasonable urban system frame in county area , nowadays in china many county administration areas exists some problems, for example, regional resource deployed unreasonably and poor investment returns. Thus, it limits the economic development in county area in some degree. Now, the study on development an evolution of urban system is manly focused on provincial areas or the bigger scale,but it is limit to research the small scale area ,such as county area in academic area, especially using mathematical methods and models to study the interaction , progress and features of cities and counties in the process of development and evolution of the urban system.Therefore, with the particularity of county area, this paper attempts to explore the development and evolution discipline of urban system in the aspects of theory and practice, and make the urban system majority and upgrade by way of rational distribution, division of labor and cooperation of small tows in county area ,and so as the rapid development. In theory, the paper focused analyzing the basic stimulating factors in the development and evolution of the urban system, and also constructed a framework of general mechanism. In empirical study,it takes the JianChang county in province LiaoNing for example, utilizes the method of quality combined with quantity, analyzes its urban system. The qualitative analysis adopts the important development factors to expound the basic factors in county area,summarize the strengths,weaknesses,opportunities and challenges in development and evolution of urban system in JianChang county. In the quantitative analysis,after selecting cities and towns first constructed by the comprehensive evaluation of the potential development of urban system in county area, it measures the spatial relations of cites and town constructed first by the gravitational interaction model and the breakpoint model. Based on the above analysis, it comes to the progress, features and problems of the development and evolution of urban system in JianChang county. Meanwhile, it also proposes optimization ideas, development model and upgrading countermeasures to the urban system of JianChang county, combining with the general development and evolution model of urban system in county area formatted in theoretical study.
