With the rapid development of science, technology and economy, enterprises are facing a more intense competition. At the same time, there are also opportunities and challenges for enterprises. What is more, it is absolutely needed for corporations to install and perfect their performance appraisal system for the maximum of value. In order to improve competition, enterprise need to building-up to a scientific and reasonable performance evaluation system to stimulate the enthusiasm of the staff, enhance their competitiveness. So that enterprises do carry out smoothly in the staff training, payment of wages and staff deployment areas. In order to meet business development requirements, the enterprises have to face a major task, which is to gain a competitive advantage in the increasingly fierce competition through the effective performance appraisal system.I have been engaged in management in Liaoning Tianyi industry company limited for 10 years, and have witnessed the course of the system reform of stock system, Which made me realized that the negative effect of the outdated Performance management on the middle administrative staff as well as works. So it is the key issue for the company in Priority to establish a set of the evaluation system of the Performance of workers in line with the strategic request of the company.This thesis includes five parts. PartⅠstresses the importance of performance evaluation. PartⅡexplains performance appraisal theory. PartⅢAnalysis the problem of performance evaluation system in Liaoning Tianyi Industry Company limited; PartⅣapplies performance appraisal theory to redesign the performance appraisal system; PartⅤmeasures the performance evaluation results and timely carry out the use and feedback.
