Research On The Development Of Agricultural Information In Weifang City And Its Countermeasures

Information is an important factor in advancing agricultural industrialization, therefore, whether information will succeed concerns the success or failure of modern agricultural development, and it is the key to realize the goal of well-off society in an all-round way in the countryside. But there are a lot of regularities need to be explored in the development of information, and especially in practices in agriculture field, there are a lot problems need to be solve. Weifang city is one of the strongest agricultural cities in Shandong province. Agricultural information modernization has been developing faster in Weifang city than in other city of Shandong province. Compared with developed countries in the field of agricultural information modernization, however, there still exist significant gap and many problems, which will impact the development step of agricultural information modernization in the provincial level without overcoming such problems. In view of this, the thesis takes the related theories about agricultural information modernization and information economics as guidance, based on a great deal of data, make use of the research method of combining theories and realities, also from general to details during the study. Furthermore, this thesis also employs the analytic method with authentic proofs, and comes to the conclusion through the analysis with authentic proofs, which is the important basis of the countermeasure of the development of our city's information. Thus, the thesis aims at providing with certain basis for making decision in agricultural information modernization by agricultural-governing departments.This thesis defines the basic concepts such as information, agriculture information, etc., analyzes the relation between agriculture information and agricultural economics growth and establishes the theoretical foundation for follow-up study. Then it has analyzed the current situation of the development and problems of agriculture information in Weifang. In Weifang, though network platform has been established, there are problems such as low utilization rate of network information; low network effects; high use cost of agricultural information; poor service; etc. Based on this, the thesis points out the reasons of the above problems, such as be lack of agricultural information, bad information standard and lack of information talents, etc. The third part of this thesis has concluded that the agriculture information in developed countries has the features of integration of the agricultural information technology, specialization of agricultural application software, networking, etc. by analyzing the development of agriculture information in developed countries. And this paper also concludes the remarkable enlightening experience of agriculture information in developed countries:strengthen government's macro-controls; pay close attention to the establishment of agricultural database; choose suitable information in mode; strengthen the basic construction of agriculture information in combine the scientific research, education and popularization; etc.This thesis thinks that it is the preconditions of promoting information development to improve people's consciousness; the emphasis of the basic construction of agriculture in formation is to strengthen government's macro-controls and set up the united basic information network; the key to explore and make use of agricultural information resources is to synthetically develop the agricultural information resources and launch international agricultural information resources exchange and cooperation; if we want to advance agricultural information industrialization, we should increase investment, develop education and train professional talents, etc.
