| Along with continuing development of economy, industrialization and urbanization in China, the massive countryside land is taken over for use; this process on the one hand boosts the national economy, on the other hand makes a great number of land-loss farmers. Land is farmers'lifeblood. Taking over their farm land means deprive them of their basic living and production resources. Due to the dual structure between China's urban and rural area, the farmers have been excluded from the social security system for a long time, meanwhile, due to the incomplete land-levying system and the related compensatory system, lots of farmers are forced to be put into a dilemma, so called "no land to farm, no money to start business, no chance for job and social security".Through on-the-spot investigation, this paper first explains the status of life, social security and employment of land-loss farmers in Nantong City area, and analyses the cause which leads to land-loss farmers'suffering in their interests, then by comparing and learning the social security systems for land-loss farmers of China and other countries, and according to theory of "vicious circle of poverty" and the welfare economics, this paper measures the social security demands of the lands and in the end proposes the solutions and compensatory measures to complete the social security systems for landless farmers in Nantong City Area. |
