The Study Of Social Security Policies Of Land-Loss Farmers In Yanan

In recent years, with the rapid development of economy and the accelerated pace ofurbanization, land resources, especially arable land resources are requisitioned whichforces a large number of farmers leave their land, and then they become land-loss farmerswho have no land, job, welfare and money. Under the influence of the dual economicstructure, these farmers drift away between city and rural for a long time, and theybecome marginalized groups of the society. Solving the social security of landlessfarmers, which is the objective demand of maintaining the sustainable development ofthe national economy, and it is the internal requirement to realize long-term developmentstrategy goals, and it is also a process of land-loss farmers sharing the fruits of reformand open-up policy. Therefore, in order to maintain social stability, realize the balance ofurban and rural areas, and build a harmonious socialist society, the government hasresponsibility to introduce relevant social security policies to protect the rights ofland-loss farmers.This thesis adopts the empirical research and literature research methods, and fromfive aspects of the social security which are minimum life security, the old-age support,medical insurance, employment security and children education security to study thesocial security policy of land-loss farmers separately in Yanan. First of all, throughunscramble the current social security policy of land-loss farmers in Yanan, and thecombination of empirical research, the author discusses the existing problems in thesocial security policy of land-loss farmers in Yanan. Secondly, the author analyzes ofcauses of problems existing in current social security policy of land-loss farmers inYanan. Finally, in order to play a more effective function of the public service of Yananmunicipal government, to meet well the needs of the broad masses of the people, especially the demand of social security of land-loss farmers, and to realize the rapiddevelopment of social harmony and stability of Yanan, the author aims at the causes andputs forward some effective suggestions to solve the lack of social security of land-lossfarmers in Yanan.
