Business tourism has become the pulse of global economic development. It is the top priority in the development of tourism industry in recent years. After a "big fall" in 2008 and a " big increase" in 2009, the business tourists have played an increasingly important role in the tourism market. In China, some regions such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Suzhou, where tourism industry is well developed, have shown good momentum of development, driving the local economy and industry as a good benchmarking effect. Therefore, it has become an important choice for many cities to promote the development of tourism and economic society by developing business tourism.Taizhou city of Zhejiang Province is a central coastal city consisting of three districts as Jiaojiang, Huangyan and Luqiao, two county-level cities as Linhai and Wenling, Wenling and Yuhuan, and four counties as Tiantai, Shanmen, Yuhuan and Xianju. In 2008, Taizhou was awarded as an excellent tourism city. Taizhou is the birthplace of private economy, and the best commercial city in China, also Luqiao District is the business center in Taizhou area and Southeast Zhejiang. For its unique economic model and the economic development level, Ttaizhou City possesses very rich business tourism resources and business tourism industry in Taizhou will take up a large proportion of the tourism industry. However, due to lack of experience in business tourism development, problem of policy and institutional environment for business tourism, the current business tourism in Taizhou is still at the initial and exploratory stage, which unavoidedly affects the development process of business tourism to a certain extent.In this paper, Taizhou City is selected as a study sample. On the basis of literature studies, field study and market research, such theories as customer satisfaction theory, tourism marketing strategy, the long tail theory etc., are used to discuss the characteristics of business tourist market in Taizhou, to analyse the problems and influencing factors of the market about business tourism in Taizhou, and finally some suggestions are put forward on the business tourism development. Through this study, the author intends to arouse the attention of tourism industry sector to do some research on Taizhou business tourism market, to design more business tourism products to meet the market demand, and then the business tourism brand can be improved, correspondingly, Taizhou new tourism growth can be tapped, and the tourism product quality will be better. By doing these, there will be much space for the tourism development of Taizhou and the overall image of the Taizhou tourism industry will be further promoted.This paper consists of five parts. Part One is the introdution. It systematically introduces the research purpose, significance, contents, methods, related concepts and related basic theory. Part Two is the general status of Taizhou business tourism. Part Three is an analysis of the market for Business Tourists in Taizhou. Part Four is mainly about the exploration of the existing problems and some influential factors in Taizhou business tourism market. Part Five puts forward the prospect and some countermeasures for better business tourism market in Taizhou.
