Inbound tour is the important component part of Chinese tourism, and it is also the embodiment of whole level of development of tourism. The global financial crisis had made a great impact on the inbound tourism of China, meanwhile the series of changes of the structure of inbound tour market will appear, so we have to redefine and audit our inbound tour market both from strategic structure and strategic emphasis. It has very important practical significance to research the specific points of inbound tourism market as well as to understand the exchanging and developing tendency of inbound tourism market, so as to exploit the measures in inbound tour market under the influence of financial crisis.With long history, Gansu boasts rich touring resources as well as abundant natural and cultural heritage. The abundant tourism resources established the good foundation for the tourism especially Inbound tour. But with the rapid development of Chinese Inbound tour, the gap between Gansu and other provinces constantly widen, so to fast the speed of Gansu Inbound tourism development is a task which brooks no delay.Developing inbound tourism is not only to adjust the industrial structure of Gansu tourism, but also relate to the sustainable development of Gansu tourism. Based on above mentioned situations, this paper come up with the comprehensive analysis on the present status of Gansu Inbound tour so as to how to establish the Inbound market location strategy, and upon this basis to work out a practical proposal to the development of Gansu Inbound tourism.This paper is mainly adopted the statistics and materials of{China tourism Statistics Yearbook} 1997-2008 and{Inbound tourist Sampling Survey} 1997-2008 published by National tourism Bureau and National Bureau of Statistics, as well as the materials of{Gansu tourism Statistics Yearbook}., with these materials to analysis the structure change of Gansu Inbound tourist and mainly trends of client original place., and to discuss the cultural difference of the mainly client original and the basic behaving model of tourist,to analysis the characteristic of Gansu Inbound tour market and brings forward the countermeasures and suggestions aiming at the development of Gansu Inbound tour.
