Empirical Study On The Relation Between Rural Human Capital And Rural Economy Growth In Jiangxi Province

Growth theory gradually focuses on human capital contribution to economic progress instead of emphasizing the function of physical capital in economic development. The western developed countries and; the emerging industrialized countries have confirmed that human capital is the endogenous factor and the driving force of economic growth, the human capital investment and the accumulation are the important bases which makes theconomy continue to grow effectively.Based on the human capital theory and the new economic growth theory, this article researches intensively the relation between rural human capital and rural economy growth in JiangXi province,with the combined utilization of the contrastive analysis,the qualitative analysis and the quantitative analysis. The article includes the following four respects:First; this article briefly reviewed the development process of human capital theory and economic growth theory. Second, after comparative analysis of rural human capital and rural economy situation from longitudinal and the crosswise, the article perorates that the rural human capital of JiangXi province has developed rapidly in recentt decades, but compared with other provinces in the centrallregion, the quality of rural human capital is relatively backward Third; through the model building, selecting 1988-2008 year data,the article uses the regression model to analyze the Jiangxi countryside human capital to the economic growth function and Contribution rate. Through the computation, it is concluded that the physical capital's contribution is bigger than the human capital's in rural areas of JiangXi province,it explains that physical capital investment is the main factor driving economic growth in rural areas of JiangXi province. Then with the analysis of each production elements and rural economic growth co-integration relationship and granger causality, through Eviews software,it is concluded that the human capital in jiangxi province has a positive role in promoting rural economic growth and a long-term and stable relationship between human capital and rural economic growth. Finally, according to the above results analysis, it proposes some feasible measures and suggestions to improve the quality of rural human capital in Jiangxi Province.
