Based on that, we issue the reasonable proposal for the problems that has been found. This article will discuss two major topics, the first part of the information industry to absorb the statistical analysis of employment, examing the characteristics of employment in China's information industry. Regional characteristics and industry characteristics were analyzed; The second part is to analyze the influential factors of employment. The basic structure of this paper is as follows:The first chapter gives the background of our study to illustrate the practical significance of the study, also giving a brief overview of the literature at home and abroad. According to the present study, we propose some improvements and provides the innovation of this paper.ChapterⅡis divided into two parts, the first part discusses the generation and evolution of information industry term and the definition of information industry. We also simply analyze the scope of information industry. Following we briefly introduce the important international information industry classification systems: Borat Information Industry Classification System, OECD Information Industry Classification System, and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) in the information industry. And their similarities and differences were analyzed. In the last paragraph of this part we introduce the official classification system in our country to use as the information industry classification standard of this paper. The second part we introduce the concept of information technology index. The introduction of the information technology index is to analyze the impact of China's information industry employment factors. Factors that affect information industry employment are complicated. Using index method can simplify our analysis. In the third chapter, domestic information industry employment was roughly estimates. Two methods were used in the information industry employment estimating. The two methods get similar results, the data we used to estimate are incomplete aperture data which is the employees in urban areas. Also in accordance with the following sub-sectors and sub-regional approach to the information industry employment, industry characteristics and regional characteristics were analyzed. Analysis results show that employment in China's information industry sector is characterized by the basic focus on the electronic information product manufacturing industry, the regional characteristics are basically concentrated in the east.Chapter IV is the empirical part of the paper. We analyze the factors that affect the information industry employment. Panel data model is used to analyze, explained variable of the model is information industry employment, the explanatory variable is the information index, the level of information subjects, information and equipment index and the economic development index. We first establish the models on the national prospect, followed were established in eastern, central and western panel data model. The results of the regression, is explained.Chapter Five is part of the policy proposals, according to the analysis above, combined with the status of China information industry we give some appropriate recommendations. The main contributions of this paper are:Firstly, we keep up on the latest developments of information industry classification. The most three influential foreign classification systems were analyzed. Profound comparison of classification systems between domestic and abroad has been discussed. Secondly, according to the related information industry classification standards released by National Bureau of Statistics the number of employed persons were estimated. Thirdly, we estimate the industrial and regional information industry employment respectively, analyzing the characteristics by industry and region. Fourthly, because of the shortcomings of time series methods in the empirical analysis of the information industry, this paper uses the panel data modeling methods to analyze the factors that affect the information industry employment. We establish the panel cointegration model and the panel error correction model through the perspective of long-and short-term to analyze the impact of the employment in information industry.
