The employee career management has been gradually accepted by more and more Chinese enterprises since it was introduced from the west. Company and employee will win and achieve common development of both sides if the employee career management is well done. The dissertation aims to make a relatively target career management program for Company A, which will provide valuable career management for Company A and the whole garment retail service industry.Literature research, case investigation and observation are used in the research. The existing problem were found based on the analysis of the relative data, the result of the analysis were confirmed by identifying the problem, under this basis, a sound program is put forward.Firstly, related concept of career management were introduced, the representative theory were given a more detailed review, including Personality Types of Holland's Theory, Career Anchor Theory of Schein and Model of Career Management of Green House.Development status, business background, profile and the practice of career management of the clothing retail industry where Company A belongs were introduced. Career management status of Company A is still in its infancy based on its investigation result. Its problems include:lack of systematic employee career planning management, insufficient training system supporting the needs of employees, lack of personnel training incentives and lack of proper career development path and backup staffing.On this basis, Company A must first select the backup staffing, implement a tutor system to guide the employee in order to achieve a successful career management. Secondly, job analysis editing and job description rewriting are also a basis to guide and management the employees. Training program increase, development of the new training resources and the establishment of the proposed certification system within the enterprises are also the key factors to improve the training system. Moreover, executives of the enterprises are expected to formulate feasible policy and human resource management is required to implement the work accordingly to allow all employees to be involved in full career management.The research result will provide Company A and other similar enterprises with practical guidance and reference in their future employee career management.
