With the rapid development of information and communication technology, the world economy has steped into an era of globalization, while the factor of production which was supported by the technological progress has also entered a new era. People used to call the transaction through network as network economy while the economic model has gradually replaced the traditional means of trade, the one that is stand in the forefront as a subject for the economy. However, network automotive R&D of this trend also emerged in this occasion, but it still stay at the initial stage for the scholars are at a stage of exploration which has not formed the fruitful results both in theoretical research and empirical testing.Firstly, on the basis in of the concepts and theories related to network R&D, we research on automotive products of the current development model and find that R&D is not suitable for the requirements of agile 'development and consumer uncertainty. With the intensification of market competition and the R&D limitation of companies resources, the R&D collaborative activities in the automobile industry has become an important source for innovative ways, however, with the development of network economy, it will also promote the appearance of network R&D industry. What is more, this trend does not mean that R&D network will be able to have the appropriate value. This article followed the motivation of automotive products of R&D network, research the need for R&D network from technical, economic and market perspective of the automotive products, for which the network is not the only advantages and values of R&D network. In this case, this article combine the practical application of information network technology to conduct a deeper study.Secondly, the concept of collaborative was proposed in the context of this research, and proposed R&D organization with this model according to the relevant theory for the characteristics of automotive product. According to the restrictions mentioned above, we put forward the theory and significance of work collaborative platform. Under the guidance of the theory and practice, we also construct the networking platform for the automotive products R&D collaborative research. This article mainly introduce the Platform in four areas which from the characteristics of automotive product development, collaborative business management process, functional design of collaborative management and collaborative design. However, it is also a problem for how to manage R&D model in order to ensure the role into important safeguard faced with this new R&D model. With the foreign materials and some other related insights of academic works, this article propose the concept of collaborative management from R&D mode to the entire life cycle of collaborative management.Finally, the fourth chapter of this article introduces the automotive collaborative R&D management of the entire network life cycle. In addition, the last section of this chapter has given the choice of development partners which is related to the Union for the key to success, while the alliance partner selection in cooperative research and development were highlighted. In the previous studies, scholars used to reduce the risk of dynamic alliance by reduce the adverse selection of partners, but these methods which are based on a Nash game theory has limited information that are obtained, which theories can not be fully explained in Automotive R&D Network and the R&D partner selection in this highly variable are extremely complex. Cooperative R&D partnership is a long-term relationship which is in the process of repeating the formation of the complex relationships, so it is the practical significance of the model described in this chapter.
