As an important tool in the operation management of the enterprises, undoubtedly performance appraisal plays an important role in standardizing the enterprises'management and improving the enterprises'operation management; it is also a complicated and changeable system in terms of the encouraging and restraining roles that it plays.Anyhow, performance appraisal should not copy blindly.Currently, in the enterprises which are directly under the control of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group,as the base of the performance appraisal is relatively weak and the professionalization degree of the performance appraisal management team is not so high, the application effect of performance appraisal---a management tool, fluctuates between hopes and fears.The "aging" of the performance appraisal project of the enterprises which are directly under the control of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group has,to some degree, resulted in the not-high working enthusiasm of the members of the management team and restrained the integral coordinative development of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group.Based on the researches of the performance appraisal projects of the enterprises which are directly under the control of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group and after referring to a good deal of theory resources,this paper makes a rational analysis of the "gain" and "loss" of the performance appraisal and aims to make the performance appraisal in the enterprises which are under the direct control of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group provided with more operability after further optimization of the current performance appraisal project so as to fully encourage the work enthusiasm and creativity of the employees and solve the problem of lackage of executive force of the enterprises,thus Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group is instilled with new vitality in terms of a second business starting and competitiveness enhancing.With the theories of performance appraisal as a starting point, after the study of the related theories of performance appraisal and according to the problems and the reasons thereof the performance appraisal project of the enterprises which are directly under the control of the Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group,this paper explains the profound analysis in simple words and therefore gives advice based on the optimizing of the performance appraisal project of the enterprises which are directly under the control of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group. Besides helping solve the actual problems of Jinan Hi-tech Holding Group,the author also hopes that the ideas and theories of this paper can provide reference for persons of the same occupation in the operation of performance appraisal.
